Build through your friend’s tiles, not around their words
Your tiles don’t even have to touch. They can bridge a gap in a straight line through tiles already on the board, yours or your friend’s, as long as the whole line adds up to 10. So every tile they play is something you can use.
- No word lists to learn. There’s nothing to memorize: the sums are the same for everyone.
- Every line is worth 10. A 9 isn’t worth more than a 1. It’s just harder to place.
- One game for everyone. Numbers mean the same in every language, so you can play anyone.
2 + 5 + 3 = 10.
The 5 was your friend’s. You placed the 2 and the 3 on either side of it.

Look for bridges first
A tile already on the board can be the middle of your line. Play on both sides of it.
Think in pairs
1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6 and 5+5 are the short words of this game.
Keep a 0 handy
A 0 fits onto a finished line without changing its total.
Watch the corners
The corners are worth +50. Don’t leave an easy one for your friend.
